Review: Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

My husband and I are at that age now, where we don’t want our vacations to be a series of parties 24/7. Over the last few years, we have picked places which are both adventurous and scenic. However, neither of us would have ever considered taking a safari. To us, a safari was something exclusive to the blood thirsty ultra rich, in countries unsafe for the average person. However, one of my co-workers mentioned her sister was doing her honeymoon in Uganda. They were going to do a two week photo safari on a local animal preserve, which studied gorillas. The more she told me about the trip, the more I became intrigued.

When I got home that night I did a search a for Gorilla Tours, and sure enough I quickly found a website which had packages for tracking and observing gorillas, as well as other exotic animals. After pouring over the website I was hooked on the idea of doing this as our next vacation. It took a few months to put the trip together, but we finally did our Gorilla Tour. photographing the mountain gorillas in Africa is one of the most adventurous thing you can do while enjoying your safari holiday.

I’m happy to say it was an excellent time for both of us. Our tour group and guides were wonderful companions and the pictures we took! The photos we took during our 4 Days Gorilla Trekking Trip to Bwindi Forest look like they came straight of a magazine! I could go on for hours talking about the wonderful time we had.
