Taking a bus from Tunis airport to the Tunis city center is a good way to travel if you’re on a budget and staying in the heart of the city.
Buses from Tunis airport are run by SNT and TUT and make trip from Tunis airport to the city center during daytime and evening hours.
The bus journey from the airport to central Tunis takes a half hour.
If you take the SNT bus, you want to take bus number 35 or 635, which leave Tunis airport every half hour from outside of the arrivals hall. Bus tickets cost one dinar.
TUT buses from Tunis airprot to Tunis city center cost one dinar and run every quarter hour from outside the arrivals hall.
Both buses stop at Avenue Habib Bourguiba terminate at Tunis-Marine train station in the city center. From there you can walk or take a taxi to your final destination.
