I Found it quite acceptable as long as you stayed with your guide in your vehicle. It can be quite intimidating in the larger townships

Stayed here for two nights in October -wish it was longer. A superb lodge with excellent food and facilities.

I would like information on how to set up a monthly donation from my bank to the elephant orphanage in Kenya. I can’t possibly think of a more important and worthy cause as saving these beautiful helpless babies. I live for the day I can one day afford to go there in person but for now would like to make a small difference financially. Thank you in advance, Tam

The Talisman restaurant is great! I have visited the place twice now and have a had a lovely experience both times. The decor is unique but cosy, the service was discreet yet attentive, and the food was delicious. You should book if you are going for dinner, as it gets quite busy, and you want to avoid disappointment. Try the feta samosas, or the quail with wine sauce, and the chocolate mousse-all I can say is :’heaven can wait’!!!
