Karen Blixen Camp in Masai Mara
Karen Blixen Camp is situated on the northwestern border of the Masai Mara safari park in Kenya.
The camp is one of the top safari lodges in the country and is a member of Eco Tourism Kenya and the Africa Travel and Tourism Association.
Consisting of 22 luxury tents, each with its own veranda, the Karen Blixen Camp also has a swimming pool, restaurant and day spa.
Animals such as giraffes and elephants live right near the Karen Blixen Camp and can be seen grazing throughout the day.
The Karen Blixen Camp can be reached by driving from Nairobi (5 hours in good conditions, 7 in bad) or flying from Nairobi to the Masai Mara.
