Kenya Language

There is not just one Kenya language, there are two official languages in Kenya.

Kenya’s two official languages are Swahili and English.

Swahili is the native Kenyan language, while English was introduced by the British during the colonial period in Kenya.

Both are spoken widely throughout Kenya.

Road and street signs in Kenya are all in English.

Almost everyone you will encounter in Kenya will speak English well.
