Fort Jesus in Mombasa, Kenya is a popular destination for visitors to Mombasa.

Located near the Old Town on the coast of Mombasa, Fort Jesus is a sixteenth century Portuguese edifice.

Today visitors can walk through Fort Jesus and view military artifacts and chambers that were once used in Mombasa’s slave trade.
